We are proud to be part of the celebrations for Homecoming Scotland 2009.  Spread the word and join our celebrations!

The year of Homecoming 2009 has given the impetus to our ambition of establishing a Colintraive Heritage Centre to capture our local history and portray how our forebears lived and worked in this rural area of outstanding natural beauty.

A fascinating array of pictures and artefacts will be displayed in the Colintraive Heritage Centre from 9 May till 30 September 2009.

We express our sincere thanks to everybody who donated time and artifacts and also:

  • Colin M Liddell for the directors cut of “Clyde Steamers Memories” specially created for the Colintraive Heritage Centre.

and for the funding

  • Homecoming Scotland 2009
  • Cruach Mhor Windmill Trust
  • Argyll and Islands – Leader
  • Argyll and Bute Council

as well as the Scottish Natural Heritage for funding of the path and picnic table.
